Mastering RECLONE controls is the first step toward surviving the NVX-Orion. The game uses standard Roblox movement inputs with additional mechanics for crouching, item usage, and shop interaction. Precise control over movement speed directly impacts Hunter detection — walking, crouching, and sprinting each produce different noise levels that determine whether the Hunter investigates your position.
Movement Controls
RECLONE movement follows the standard Roblox control scheme with stealth-critical variations. Walking produces moderate footstep noise, crouch-walking minimizes sound output, and sprinting generates loud noise that attracts the Hunter from multiple corridors away. Default Roblox sprint (Shift on PC, joystick press on console) should be used sparingly — only during confirmed emergency escapes with Zoom-Ola active.
Crouch-walking is the most important movement technique in RECLONE. Crouching reduces both footstep volume and visual detection range, making it the default movement mode for corridor navigation. Practice crouch-walking through Admin Sector before attempting harder zones where noise discipline is mandatory.
Item Usage Controls
Equipped items from the pre-run shop activate through Roblox's standard tool system. Select your Torch, Track-o-Matic, Flare, or weapon from the hotbar and click or tap to use. Flares are thrown by aiming and activating — the flare lands and illuminates the target area. Track-o-Matic operates passively once equipped, displaying entity indicators on your HUD without active input.
Shop & Code Menu
The pre-run Shop menu opens via the Shop button on the left side of the screen. Inside the shop, navigate tabs for gear purchases and the Codes section for promo code redemption. No keyboard shortcut exists — you must click the Shop button directly. See our code redemption guide for detailed menu navigation.

Controls and Hunter Detection
Every input action generates a noise profile the Hunter evaluates. Jumping, dropping items, opening containers, and interacting with terminals all create distinct sound events. Combine control discipline with Track-o-Matic monitoring for optimal stealth. Read our Hunter survival guide for the complete noise management system.
